Instead, override OnViewAttached. The new version will always pass you the view you created. In other words, it won't pass you any framework generated views. An example of this is a UserConrol which is shown as a ChildWindow, where the ChildWindow is created by the WindowManager. In this case, OnViewAttached and OnViewLoaded will be called with the UserControl, but the ChildWindow will be maintained in the cache for purposes of GetView calls. This clears up some confusing scenarios where you might get a view attached that is a different type than what you developed. With the addition of the ViewCache property for turning on/off caching, there should be no need to override AttachView. ViewAware inherits from PropertyChangedBase and implements IViewAware. This provides a lightweight base class for MVP scenarios where screen activation is not needed. Furthermore, improvements were made to the implementation of IViewAware in the base class. Developers can now easily turn view caching off application-wide or override it on a per ViewAware instance basis. To change it at the application level, set ConventionManager.CacheViewsByDefault. The default is true for backwards compatibility. To change it on a per ViewAware instance basis, simply set the CacheViews property.
