Caliburn 2.0 + Prism

Does Caliburn 2.0 can be combined with Prism 2.1 like in Caliburn 1.1? Thanks.

Why would you need to do that?

I'm using Prim 2.1 in my new project but I want to have the power of Caliburn 2.0 too.

There was a Prism integration in v1.1; it had a fairly deep integration between Caliburn and Prism modularity and service location.
The integration infrastructure, however, was removed in v2.

In my opinion, even though it seemed a good idea at first, that integration level is an overkill: typically you wouldn't go too far in mixing the two framework infrastructure (which, by the way, are quite different).
I suggest you to individually pinpoint the features of each framework that best serves your needs: for example, choose whether you intend to do UI composition with Prism or Caliburn, or which of the two you would like to drive the application bootstrap and modularity.
Depending on what your exact needs are, you can usually pick out some features of Caliburn and plug it into Prism.
Also, it should significantly easier to do using with http://caliburnmicro.codeplex.com/, which has most of the full Caliburn features with a very little footprint.

I should clearly point out that following this path is non that simple, since you have to master both frameworks.

Understood. Many thanks for your advice.

We've been using Cv2 with Prism 2.0 since November or so.

With the help of Marco, we were able to successfuly implement the integration.

We use Prism's navigation features in tandem with Caliburn's actions and triggers, and so far it works perfect.

Shoot me an e-mail if you're still interested, and I can send you the integrated source.
